Last night...random streaks
sudden flashes
hyperspace without the splashes
fell across the dark night sky.
Train the eye to stare blankly
and stars are falling to the ground
the more you pay attention
far away.
It's time attention's paid in full.
Must get its rightful due.
For in the dawning now,
comets too...
Finchy flashes
soft-cooed splashes
their flocks afoot that pepper driveway dewed,
move it brook-like, into morning
specks of gray in a jittery jamboree.
Night and day.
